Ottoman saber called "yatagan". Bone, metal and inlay winged frame.
The two ear-type bone plates are riveted to the blade and enriched in the middle with a band of metal encrusted with coral. Metal ferrule with geometric decorations and cabochon-cut coral encrustations.
Inwardly curved blade and T-back decorated with a zigzag type relief pattern, enriched with a long cartouche written in Arabic.
Without scabbard.
19th century period.
