The artworks will be exhibited from May 29 to June 6, 2024 at the Humano District Development Chapel (1820, Galt Ouest street, Sherbrooke).
SALE INFORMATION
The Musée des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke art auction is back this year in a hybrid format which will begin on May 25, 2024 online and conclude in person on June 6, 2024. The benefit event, presented by Humano District, will be held on Thursday June 6, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Chapelle Humano District in Sherbrooke (1820, rue Galt Ouest). The artworks will be exhibited from May 29 to June 6, 2024 at the Humano District Development Chapel. An opening reception will take place on Wednesday May 29 at 5:00 p.m.
Every year, for more than 30 years, the MBAS has organized the Soirée des beaux-arts which raises funds to support MBAS programming, ensure the development of educational and cultural programs, and offer original exhibitions including the high quality is recognized and to preserve in its three well-stocked reserves, the artistic heritage of Quebec and the Eastern Townships.
ATTENTION
- The sale of lots will take place in hybrid mode from 7:50 p.m. (Eastern Daylight Time), June 6, 2024
- Online bidding can continue live, without adding additional time between each bid, whether from the room or the online sale
- It is possible to place automatic bets which will be considered by the auctioneer in the room
IMPORTANT
In the event of a double bid, please check that the WINNING BID message appears in blue on the screen. If this message does not appear, it is because we have already received a bid identical to yours, but chronologically before yours.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Lots are sold without guaranties or recourse and « as is ». This benefit auction is exempt from all taxes and fees. The amount of the bids will therefore be the amount paid. Any item purchased for an amount greater than the estimated value (average of estimates) will be considered a donation to a charity and the purchaser will receive a donation receipt (for tax purposes) of the excess amount (difference between the estimated value and amount awarded).
PAYMENT
Payments for this sale will be processed by the Musée des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke within 72 hours of the close of the sale. Authorized methods of payment in Canadian dollars : Interac transfer, Bank transfer, Credit card (Visa, Mastercard).
