A multi-artist

collaborative series of interconnected canvases — featuring some of montreal’s

top creative talent — will be auctioned off as part of the first annual

Multicaf fundraiser, designed to support low income people in the Cote des

Neiges / Snowdon region through food security and the building of healthy

relational connections.

In support of MULTICAF, a select group of

acclaimed Montreal-based artists have joined efforts to explore an experimental

process of shared creativity; celebrating an ability to give life to something

larger —when working together — than any one of us could do on our own.

While the work speaks for itself in poetically

powerful ways — painted in pastel hues of vibrant optimism — its greater

‘value’ is not intrinsic to the object itself, but instead lives through the

process of collaboration, a treasure finer than the final product. These

paintings — a bold vision of the energetic potential available to each of us

that move away from self-serving translational relationships toward deeply

rewarding relational connections — reflect generously the abundant rewards of

reciprocity.

For this very special, first of its kind event,

these four artists have given their best to honor MULTICAF as an organization,

and its critical mission of supporting the men, women and children within our

communities that today are in a time of greatest need. While great art and

(perhaps) a few sweet jokes are the prize, they — through the gift of their

work — invite each one of us to consider that above all, human life, and the

creative potential in every single one of us, is priceless.

START TIME :

The Start time indicates when the sale will be

open for pre-bidding. Once open the PLACE BID buttons will appear with each lot.

PLACING AUTOBIDS during

the TIMED section :

You can place an autobid equal to the minimum

bid, or you can place your maximum bid and IEGOR LIVE will operate the bid on

your behalf, increasing the price to keep you in the lead up to your maximum,

if need be.

A handy drop down menu with bidding increments

is available for each lot.

All bids received during the TIMED AUCTION will

be applied once the LIVE AUCTION starts .

Placed autobids are legally binding and cannot

be cancelled. Bidders are responsible for errors in bidding.

LIVE SALE:

The Live sale starts at the set time.

CONDITIONS OF SALE

This benefit event is free of all fees and taxes. The amount bid will therefore be the amount paid. Any purchase for an item at an amount greater than the estimated value will be considered a donation to MULTICAF and the buyer will receive a donation receipt (for tax purposes) for the excess amount (difference between the estimated value and the amount auctioned).
