Gilded silver reversible “torque” necklace adorned with gems and mother of pearl inlaid in a geometric pattern on either side of the clasp. Hammered work. Weight: 114.5g. Trained in sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Tbilisi (Georgia), GOUDJI settled in Paris in 1974 where he experienced an overwhelming success and where he was be entrusted with the creation of the first series of exclusive jewels at the Louvre Museum. Each of his creations is unique and strongly inspired by ancient civilizations. Winner of numerous awards, his works are part of many private and museum collections. Some lots are subject to international license Cites (regulation on the import and export of endangered species among others, ivory, coral, tortoise shell, etc.). Buyers must enquire with local authorities for export and with the country of import before bidding.
