BOL EN PORCELAINE BLEU ET BLANC CHINE, ÉPOQUE KANGXI (1662-1722) Large et profond par la forme, finement tourné, reposant sur un pied droit. Les côtés moulés d'un motif de pétales pour le long de la moitié inférieure, la lèvre foliée. Décoré en bleu cobalt sous couverte sur sa partie extérieure d'élégantes dames de court se tenant debout dans un jardin; des pétales en réserve comblées de motifs de fleurs de lotus. L'intérieur est décoré en son centre d'une dame assise sous un arbre dans un jardin avec des livres derrière elle; large bordure sous la lèvre décrivant des fleurs de lotus et autres fleurs que sépare un treillis de noeuds aux signes auspicieux. Marque apocryphe Chenghua à six caractères en bleu cobalt sous couverte dans un double-cercle au dessous. Étiquette au dessous: «Ralph M. Chait Galleries, NY». A FINE CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN BOWL CHINA, KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722) Of broad deep rounded form, thinly potted, and resting upon a straight pedestal foot with recessed underfoot. The sides of the bowl with a molded wide petal design along the lower half, and the lip with a foliated rim. The bowl is decorated in underglaze cobalt blue along the exterior with reserves of elegant Court ladies standing in a garden; the petal shaped reserves each filled with stylized lotus flower. The interior is decorated in the center with a lady seated beneath a tree in a garden with books beside her; and with a wide border at the lip of lotus and other flower heads divided by a trellis knotted auspicious designs. Apocryphal Chenghua sixcharacter mark in underglaze cobalt blue within a double-circle on the bottom. Label on the bottom: Ralph M. Chait Galleries, NY. Provenance: acquis de la galerie Ralph M.
