GRANDE ET LARGE SCULPTURE EN BRONZE DORÉ DE MANJUSHRI CHINE, DANS LE STYLE TIBETO-CHINOIS, MARQUE YONGLE, DYNASTIE QING Présenté sis dans la posture de délassement royal sur une base à double-rangée de lotus, la main droite esquissant le mudra de l'enseignement, coiffé d'une tiare et d'un large chignon, portant un long dhoti drapé sur ses deux épaules et flanqué de deux branches de lotus. Porte la marque apocryphe Yongle sur la base. Pour une figure de Manjushri similaire d'époque Yongle, bien que de moindre de taille, se référer au lot 88 de la vente Christie's New York du 21 Mars 2001. A LARGE GILT BRONZE FIGURE OF MAJUSHRI CHINA, IN THE TIBETO-CHINESE STYLE, YONGLE MARK, QING DYNASTY Superbly cast seated in Royal Ease on a double-lotus base with beaded rims and additional leaf border, the left hand depicting the mudra of the education, wearing a long dhoti elegantly draped and secured with a sash suspending beaded festoons, beaded necklaces and armlets, his head topped by a bun and a foliated tiara, flanked by two lotus branches.
