MANUSCRIPT – FRANCOYS PREMIER Letter signed Francoys, to the Ambassador of Denmark, March 6, 1546. 1 folded sheet, half page, address and date on the back. 24.3 x 17cm. “…it is a long time since I heard from you…the affairs of the King of Denmark…as soon as you can…” François I (born as François d'Angoulême on September 12, 1494 in Cognac and died on March 31, 1547 in Rambouillet) was crowned King of France on January 25, 1515 in Reims Cathedral. He reigned until his death in 1547. Christian III of Denmark and Norway, born August 12, 1503 in Gottorf and died January 1, 1559 in Koldinghus, was King of Denmark and Norway, and Duke of Holstein and Schleswig from 1533 to 1544.
