OSTENSOIR / MONSTRANCE
Monstrance with quadripod base in gilded plated metal. The lunula used to display the consecrated host is decorated with two cherubs on the upper part and two others on the left and right. The underside displays a bunch of grapes and leaves, referring to the blood of Christ. A magnificent radiance encircles the whole. There are twenty rays. The whole is surmounted by a Latin cross with trefoil ends and ornamented with foliage. The body is decorated with leaves, flourishes and cherubs. The foot displays on the main face an Agnus Dei on a Bible. The sides display clusters of grapes. The back displays a triangle, symbol of the Holy Trinity, with inscriptions in Hebrew. The legs are richly decorated with flowers and plant motifs.
